Our approach:

With the mentality of a start-up and the experience of a leading law firm in restructuring/insolvency administration, we work for the success of the companies entrusted to us – pragmatically, professionally, focused. We speak ten languages fluently, from Finnish to Russian. Internationality is part of our DNA. We publish our expertise in law journals, we give lectures to professional audiences and teach at universities.

Commitment to the cause.

We restructure companiesWe are highly specialised in the restructuring/reorganisation of companies. As a one-stop-shop we also offer corporate law and labour law to complement and strengthen our competence. Our guiding principle is the reorganized company. We adviseAs advisors on the one hand and as insolvency administrators on the other hand, we are familiar with both perspectives of insolvency proceedings – a necessary prerequisite for the best possible work for the client.

We are independent. As insolvency administrators and trustees, we are commited to the law. Yet focussed on the interests of the creditors, we appreciate entrepreneurial achievementsRestructuring measures are often associated with cutbacks for employees. In restructuring, appreciation for people is a key value. The goal of our work is to preserve values.

>

Restructuring / Reorganisation

Repositioning a distressed company requires expertise and commitment. Avoiding insolvency is the first aim. While others recommend insolvency as a solution in every crisis of a company, we look for other solutions. We think in business terms without overlooking the legal risks. We have both in view.

><

Protective shielding / debtor in possession proceedings

If the crisis cannot be solved out of court, we have alternatives: With the protective shield and the debtor-in-possession proceedings, the legislator has created ways to sustain companies with the possibilities of a judicial restructuring procedure. Insolvency money from the employment agency, simplified contract termination and better employment law options help to reposition companies in a new and sustainable way.

><

Insolvency monitoring / Insolvency administration

Some claim that insolvency is the best way of restructuring a company. We do not share this opinion. We only go down this road if it is sensible or unavoidable. Avoiding insolvency is often the better way – for the employees, for the creditors, for the entrepreneur. Hence it is important to think in business terms without overlooking the legal risks. We have both in view.

><

Commercial law / company law

First of all, advice on commercial and corporate law requires excellent lawyers. And creativity. A contradiction? Not with us. We advise financial investors and family businesses on start-ups, restructurings, company acquisitions and sales. We represent managing directors and shareholders in corporate law issues and disputes. Our work is consensus-oriented, because conflicts destroy values.

<

Labour Law

We advise employers on collective employment law as well as boards of directors and managing directors on individual employment law. We find functional solutions, reliably for all parties involved. Even in tough negotiations, works councils and trade unions appreciate our transparency and fairness as negotiation partners.

Our team

We meet on an equal footing.

Restructuring requires the commitment and professional quality of each individual participant. It is the interaction of the team that leads to success. This is how we think, this is how we work. We work as a team, everyone on an equal footing.
